You also need to reduce your intake of particular fats. One mistake most people make it to try to eat all low fat and this doesn't work, and isn't good for your body. The fats you need to reduce are the saturated fats. Eating the other fats found in fish for instance is good for you.


Be sure as well to eat lean protein and not protein that is high in saturated fat.


You will also need to exercise and the best form of exercise for burning fat is weight training. This builds your muscles slightly and with more muscle on your body your will burn up more calories, hence helping the fat loss from your belly. This muscle will also give you a better toned look rather than flabby skin that for many people is unsightly.
